[section_title title=”Closer Look”]Closer Look
Starting with the packaging as we do and the box is well designed. On the front we can see the CM Storm logo in the top left, an image of the mouse itself right in the middle and the background is what we have come to know and love from CM Storm and gaming peripherals. The front also lets as know this is a 2000 DPI mouse with a rubberised anti-slip design geared towards users with a claw grip.
On the back we have the specifications list that covers all the important points CM wanted to bring to our attention such as a 5 million click rating, ultra slick feet and an extra wide 16 bit USB data path to name a few.
On one side we have a bit of text lettings us know if we need more information to visit http://www.cmstorm.com . It also mentions the operating system requirements to ensure the mouse is compatible with the end users OS.
Opening the front flap and we have the Xornet itself on the right. On the left we have an image diagram highlighting some of the features of the Xornet as well as descriptions for the highlighted points.
Taking the plastic packaging out of the box to have a closer look.
The only contents inside the box aside from the Xornet are the Quick Start Guide and Warranty information pamphlet.
A quick look at everything included in the box.
Taking a look from the back and we can see the Cm Storm logo and the ergonomic design.
Another few of the ergonomic design.
On the right hand side we get a closer look at the ergonomic layout seeing our finger holder where the Xornet branding is and we can also see the rubberised anti-slip grip.
Having a look from the front we can see where the rubber coated USB cable connects to the mouse, the DPI buttons so users can switch DPI on the fly and the scroll wheel.
On the right side of the Xornet are the forward and backward buttons that can also be bound in-game to wield your favourite weapon and again the rubberised anti-slip grip.
Looking at the bottom of the mouse we have all the FCC logos, model number and of course the 2000 DPI Storm Tactical Optical Sensor.Â
