In this section I would usually go over the software offering, which in Logitech’s case is the Logitech Gaming Software. Unfortunately in my specific configuration, for a reason I cannot diagnose, I cannot get the mouse to play nicely with the software despite working perfectly on a plug and play basis.
It’s not a cause for worry however, I have seen others with early samples whose software seems to be working fine, and even in the remote chance users with retail samples do have any issues similar to mine they will find out first hand how good Logitech customer service is.
Still, functions you can expect are things like button reprogramming, adjusting the DPI steps and binding shortcuts to keys amongst others. Below is a screenshot of the gaming software from our review of the G502 to give you an idea, just consider the G502 is the bigger brother so will have more options available to it.
