The V31 is almost identical to the V51, just a tad bit smaller. One of the differences comes right on the front of the case, the bottom 5.25″ bay also has a smaller 3.25″ bay inside it making so users will not need an adapter if they want to install a smaller card reader (or floppy drive). Aside from the one minor difference there are still 2 x 5.25 drive bays, power and reset buttons, 2 x USB3.0 and the front audio ports.

Another one of the minor differences come when removing the front panel, here we see only 1 x intake fan whereas the V51 has 2. The 5.25″ bays are easily removed by taking out a few thumb screws which will allow for a bigger radiator to be installed or extra room for whatever you may need it for.

The main side panel as i like to call it still features a window but in comparison to the V51 it is a bit smaller, though it still offers more than enough room to view anything that will be put inside.

Again, on the back side panel we have a bit of a raised area to allow a bit of extra room for the cables on the back side of the motherboard tray.

On the back is another one of the small differences between the V51 and V31. Not only are there only 2 x holes for water cooling tubing, they have actually also moved them from atop the rear exhaust fan down next to the PCI expansion bays in the little extra vent area. This is a bit of an odd choice in my opinion as there is no direct line to the end of a radiator here and would mean users would have to route their tubes through the case more than normal to get them to the outside, unless of course they were intended for GPU cooling.

Aside from that there is as mentioned a pre-installed exhaust fan, cutouts for the motherboard and PSU and there are still 8 x PCI expansion slots.

A few more changes to the bottom of the core V31, the feet are round and a lot smaller. Also, the dust filter covering the vented area is one piece instead of being two.

The top however is still fairly similar, it features a removable magnetic dust filter and again users will be able to install a number of fan and radiator configurations in the top of the Core V31.
