Introduction
It seems that every major PC hardware brand is jumping on the mechanical keyboard bandwagon at the moment; we’ve had rumours of G.Skill developing a keyboard, glimpses of an EpicGear (GEIL’s peripheral branch) keyboard and now we have MSI jumping aboard with their GK 601 gaming mechanical keyboard, it’s of no surprise that the market is becoming saturated and full of similar keyboards. The latter keyboard I mentioned is the product I shall be looking at today – MSI’s GK 601. MSI have launched this keyboard to compliment the gaming style and performance of their latest range of graphics cards and motherboards. It is their first foray into the mechanical keyboard world, so it’ll be interesting to see if they have done anything to make them stand out from the dozens, if not hundreds of different mechanical keyboards out there already.
