[section_title title=”Closer Look”]Closer Look
On the front of the package the first thing most will notice is the image of the VENTUS mouse itself smack dab in the middle. Across the top on either side are the Tt eSPORTS and Dragon logos. Under the image of the mouse we will see that this is in fact a VENTUS ambidextrous mouse as well as some information including the fact it has a 5700DPI sensor, air through ventilation and of course is ambidextrous. Â Also note their slogan ” Challenge is the game” and the URL to their website.
Opening the flap on the front and we get a first class view at the VENTUS. On the left hand side are some images of the mouse and a few specific points Tt eSPORTS wanted to bring to the consumers attention.
On the back is an image of the software that will allow us to further customize the VENTUS as well as a sentence that reads in quite a few different languages saying “Professional gaming mouse, for more product info please go to: www.ttesports.com”.
Included in the box is a nice soft carry pouch to help make sure your VENTUS doesn’t get damaged in any way when travelling to events or what not.
Also inside the box are a multilingual quick installation guide, warranty info and a couple of stickers in true Tt fashion.
Taking a look from the top of our the VENTUS and we can see it pretty much in all it’s glory. Notice the hexagon on the left button, this lights up as does the scroll wheel and dragon symbol under the vents.
Closer look at the vents and the dragon symbol underneath.
As mentioned the hexagon lights up red as does the scroll wheel, these are also how you know when you change DPI or profile settings. We can also notice the DPI switch buttons just below the scroll wheel.
As this is an ambidextrous mouse both sides are mirrored and include a thumb button.
Taking a look from the front and we can see the braided cable goes all the way up to the front of the mouse and where it goes into the mouse there is a bit of reinforcement.
On the bottom we have all our FCC and other boring logos, the AVAGO lasor sensor and what looks to be a cover we can remove from the mouse.
Once the cover is removed we can see it is where our weights are stored. The VENTUS comes with 3 x 4.5g weights out of the box but as you can see they are easily removed so you can adjust the weight of the mouse accordingly.
If you do not want any weights at all they can all be removed, as can the rubber that holds them in place.
A nice Tt logo on the USB connector. Again, notice the braided cable goes all the way up into a bit of a reinforcement area to keep it from getting damaged.
As mentioned the mouse does light up red in some areas such as the hexagon, scroll wheel and the dragon under the vents.
