Zowie FK1 Gaming Mouse Review

So, I’ve seen some cracking mice lately, how does the FK1 stack up?

Starting with the design I feel Zowie have done a great job here, the mouse has a really stealthy look to it which I’m sure a lot of people will love but it is still contrasted by the cool yellow scroll wheel which adds a little bit of well needed colour to the mouse. It would be nice to have a braided cable for looks, but the cable that is present is the best mouse cable I’ve ever come across, it doesn’t kink!

When it comes to the performance I’m not sure how much more I can say, the FK1 is noticeably the smoothest mouse I’ve used as of yet thanks to it’s A3310 sensor and some clever Zowie firmware. The mouse buttons are also a treat with a real satisfying click to them.

Finally in terms of value I would say for the people that don’t need or want a software suite and prefer a high performance mouse with simple plug and play operation, this mouse is great value. The performance alone justifies the price tag but add in the ambidextrous option and great quality and you’re on to a winner.

So to summarise, if you use a claw grip, want a plug and play mouse and want competitive grade performance, the FK1 is the obvious choice. It doesn’t get much better than this for a claw grip mouse so I happily release my first Platinum award to the Zowie FK1.
